Our Background

Al-Amin Education Foundation of Nigeria is a registered Educational Foundation with registration No. KDS/YC/2000/4115 and CAC/IT/NO 49582.

The foundation was established in line with the 21st century expectation of the participation and contribution of voluntary Islamic agencies to the improvement of the quality of both Islamic and Western education and human life at all workable fields.

The organization is built on a solid foundation that is structured towards providing/rendering all kinds of educational and welfare services which can serve as a powerful motivational force for the improvement of the lives of its target group (women and children in our community).

Al-Amin Education Foundation of Nigeria is a foundation for hope, unity and understanding. With dedication toward optimum service delivery, it is an organization where great vision and ideas are canvassed and promoted with the aim of earning the Creator’s blessings.

Our History

Al-Amin Foundation was the 1st Islamic women-oriented Foundation that was established in 2000 within our community. It has as its cardinal aim, the re-orientation of the Muslim Ummah, especially women and children providing the basic guides on Islamic etiquettes and education.

The Foundation has over the years gained recognition and respect from the Ummah and all other Islamic organizations. Having been tested and trusted in its conceptions and implementation of qualitative programs and guided by its sincerity of purpose, commitment and consistence, the foundation was awarded the honour of being one of the leading Islamic organizations within our community.
A cursory look at the foundation’s journey so far would reveal that its success is owing to nothing but its vision, mission, sincerity of purpose, determination and above all the glory of Allah (SWT). With dedication and the zeal to live by example, the foundation is aiming to improve the quality of life of Muslims. Owing to Al-Amin Foundation’s impact on peoples’ lives, several individuals, groups, organizations, schools, Mosques and the entire society that have benefited one way or the other from our welfare packages, have commended and appreciated our efforts. It is evident from our activities that we partake in creating general awareness.

We believe that the foundation’s journey is not one that will end. All hands are on deck to ensure that our tenets extend from one generation to another.

Foundation's Mission

Educating, Informing and Encouraging Muslim women to apply the true Islamic teachings in their daily lives, to earn the blessing of Allah here and in the hereafter as well as proffer ways towards ensuring better living of Muslims Women and Children in the community.

Our Activities

Al-Amin Foundation prepares annual seminars, workshops, lectures and welfare reformation programs in different communities.


The Foundation thrives on fostering the spirit of unity, brotherhood and understanding amongst our people.


Al-Amin Foundation aims to assist in bringing general educational awareness and development within and outside our community.


The Foundation also renders all forms of charitable services to the society, which includes granting scholarship assistance to deserving students in both Islamic and western education.

In association with other organizations, it aims to ginger and enhance better understanding within the society.

Foundation's Funding

Al-Amin Foundation shall forever remain grateful to Almighty Allah (SWT) for His support first and foremost. By His Mercy, the Foundation has over the years been privileged to derive its funding from the contribution of its members as well as the contribution of philanthropic individuals.
